KBIZ Busan Donates Holiday Food Kits for 1,760 People Ahead of Chuseok

[Financial News] The Korea Federation of SMEs (KBIZ) Busan-Ulsan Regional Headquarters announced that it donated holiday food kits for a total of 1,760 people to Nakdong General Social Welfare Center in Gangseo-gu, Busan, on the afternoon of the 15th, ahead of Chuseok.
The kits were prepared with donations raised collectively by the chairpersons of Busan-based cooperatives through the Small and Medium Business Love-Sharing Foundation.
They delivered kits containing beef, songpyeon, dumplings, and sliced rice cakes for tteokguk to 13 welfare facilities in Busan, including Nakdong General Social Welfare Center. The kits were enough for 1,760 people.
Heo Hyun-do, chairman of the KBIZ Busan-Ulsan Regional Council, said, "I hope that neighbors struggling with high prices and the economic slowdown will not feel left out and will enjoy a happy Chuseok." He added, "The SME community will continue to provide unwavering support to put the spirit of sharing into practice and strengthen community coexistence."
