[Financial News] NH-Amundi Asset Management has listed a new exchange-traded fund (ETF) that invests in U.S. companies related to agentic artificial intelligence (AI).
According to NH-Amundi Asset Management on the 15th, the HANARO U.S. Agentic AI TOP2+ ETF, listed that day, invests in 10 companies listed on U.S. stock exchanges that are involved in agentic AI and its supporting technology ecosystem. Agentic AI refers to AI that can set goals, develop plans, and perform tasks autonomously without individual instructions from a user.
The 10 holdings are selected by evaluating business reports and disclosure materials through large language model (LLM)-based contextual analysis, assigning scores for their relevance to agentic AI, and incorporating market capitalization. In particular, the two largest companies with foundation models are each assigned a 25% weighting for focused investment.
The portfolio is structured around two pillars that reflect how AI agents operate. AI models are needed for agents to make decisions and formulate plans, while infrastructure to run and manage those models is required for them to perform tasks in practice. Accordingly, companies that directly develop frontier AI models or also own the cloud infrastructure needed to run them receive higher allocations, while infrastructure companies supporting agent operation—including computing, networks, data, and security—are included across the portfolio.
As of that day, Microsoft and Alphabet account for approximately 46% of the portfolio. Other holdings include Meta, Amazon.com, Dell Technologies, Arista Networks, Snowflake, CrowdStrike, and Datadog.
Another feature is that, under the index methodology, a company with high thematic relevance can be added through a special inclusion if it is newly listed, without waiting for the regular rebalancing. If major frontier AI companies that are currently private, such as Anthropic and OpenAI, go public, they may be added to the portfolio after the index committee reviews whether they meet the eligibility requirements.
Kim Seungcheol, head of the ETF Investment Division at NH-Amundi Asset Management, explained, "Now is the right time to make proactive investments in key sectors related to agentic AI, as productivity innovation driven by the technology is entering full swing. The HANARO U.S. Agentic AI TOP2+ ETF is a product that focuses on core foundation-model companies while also providing exposure to the related infrastructure ecosystem in a single investment."
