Industrial Bank of Korea to Resume Accepting Applications from Mortgage and Jeonse-Loan Brokers

[Financial News] Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) is partially easing restrictions on household lending. According to the financial sector on the 15th, IBK resumed accepting applications that loan brokers submit for mortgage loans and jeonse deposit-backed loans as of that day.
IBK plans to manage the monthly application limit for loan brokers.
IBK will also resume accepting applications for variable-rate mortgage loans and refinancing from other banks.
An IBK official said, "As regulations governing the overall volume of household lending were eased under the government's August 13 measures, we partially lifted restrictions on household lending."
