Dongbu Construction Builds Synergy Among Employees Through Organizational Culture Activities

[Financial News] Dongbu Construction is operating the “Dongbu Synergy Series” to expand communication among employees and foster a growing organizational culture. The program links education, outdoor activities and cultural experiences to promote greater understanding and empathy among employees.
Dongbu Construction announced on the 15th that it had held an insight lecture by Dr. Moon Sung-ho for all employees. The lecture took place in the company’s main auditorium, while employees at other sites also participated via a live online broadcast.
The Dongbu Synergy Series is an organizational culture program designed to help employees learn together, recharge and prepare for a new leap forward.
The lecture was held under the theme “What Does a Leader Do?—The Path of Leadership That Awakens the Heart of an Organization, Beyond the Five ‘Absences’ and Five ‘Enemies.’” Dr. Moon examined the essence of leadership and the factors that hinder organizational growth, and presented the roles leaders should fulfill amid change and uncertainty.
Dongbu Construction plans to sequentially operate Dongbu Refresh Day, which involves walking the Seoul Hanyangdoseong Trail; Dongbu Trekking Day, which features an exploration of Jirisan Dulle-gil; and Dongbu Cinema Day, which offers opportunities to enjoy cultural content together. The company aims to give employees opportunities to interact naturally with colleagues and regain their energy outside their usual workplaces. A Dongbu Construction official said, “We will continue to expand our organizational culture and welfare programs that support the growth and happiness of our employees.”
