Shinsegae International Opens Sea New York’s First Store in South Korea

[Financial News] Sea New York, a New York-based fashion brand operated by Shinsegae International, has opened its first standalone store in South Korea.
According to Shinsegae International on the 15th, Sea New York’s first store in South Korea opened on the fourth floor of Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam Branch.
Sea New York is a womenswear brand founded in New York in 2006 by Monica Paolini and Sean Monahan. It has built a global following with its vintage yet romantic aesthetic, using lace, embroidery and knitwear. The store is showcasing the brand’s 2026 fall/winter collection.
A Shinsegae International representative said, "Sea New York has already developed a customer base in South Korea through select shops and direct overseas purchases, so we expect it to receive a positive response."
