[Financial News] Daewoo Engineering & Construction said on the 15th that it would fully expand the use of 'smart safety training' and 'artificial intelligence (AI) real-time translators' to improve work efficiency and the effectiveness of training for foreign workers.
According to the company, 'smart safety training' is a digital education system that conducts regular safety training for site workers on tablet PCs. Linked to SMARTy, an integrated safety and health work system, it automatically manages related training data.
The AI real-time translator translates managers' safety instructions in Korean into the languages of foreign workers in real time and delivers them simultaneously through the screen and audio. It was designed for flexible use in various locations.
A company official said, "Smart safety training and AI real-time translators are practical on-site support solutions that reduce unnecessary administrative work and help ensure that safety information is accurately delivered to workers." The official added, "We will continue to improve the level of safety management by actively adopting highly effective smart safety technologies."
