GENORAY Secures All Türkiye Government Mammography Tenders, to Supply 130 Units This Year

[Financial News]  Global medical imaging equipment company GENORAY is expanding its presence in Türkiye’s government medical-device procurement market.
After securing the entire volume of major government mammography tenders this year, the company has also obtained supply contracts for mobile X-ray fluoroscopy systems, bringing its total supply volume to 130 units.
GENORAY said on the 15th that it recently won an additional order for its Hestia product in a mammography tender conducted by the Turkish government. As a result, the company has secured the entire volume of major local government mammography tenders held this year.
What is particularly notable is that government procurement has expanded beyond a single product. After previously winning a government project for mobile X-ray fluoroscopy systems, GENORAY has broadened its supply portfolio to include mammography devices. The total supply volume across the two product categories this year is 130 units.
Türkiye is a market with a high proportion of large-scale procurement projects in which the government centrally purchases medical equipment and supplies it to affiliated medical institutions. GENORAY is expanding the products it supplies based on its experience carrying out government projects through its local subsidiary.
An industry official said, "Government procurement markets have high barriers to entry at the outset, but once delivery records accumulate, they can help companies in subsequent tenders and when entering other product categories. The fact that GENORAY has secured references for both mammography devices and mobile X-ray fluoroscopy systems is significant in terms of expanding its product portfolio going forward." 
Meanwhile, GENORAY plans to register new products locally in Türkiye and further expand its portfolio to respond to government tenders. It will also pursue social-contribution activities with the local General Directorate of Public Health to support students from vulnerable groups.
A GENORAY official emphasized, "Government project achievements involving various medical imaging devices continue to build in Türkiye. We will use our local business foundation and product portfolio to strengthen our ability to respond to the government procurement market."
