[Financial News Hongcheon County = Reporter Kim Ki-seop] Hongcheon Mugunghwa Arboretum presents a walking path bathed in autumn night light.
According to Hongcheon County on the 15th, Hongcheon Mugunghwa Arboretum will begin nighttime operations from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday from the 18th to October 11. It will be closed on Chuseok Day.
Soft floodlights have been installed at the entrance of the arboretum and the House of Mugunghwa to allow visitors to appreciate the night scenery. In particular, the 100-meter stone wall path leading to the House of Mugunghwa, a popular photo zone, uses Lumi Stones and black light lighting to create an atmosphere reminiscent of walking through the Milky Way.
Pastel-colored floodlights and laser lights were added to a 280-meter section of the main walking path. Colorful lights were added to the night forest, which could otherwise be monotonous, enhancing the enjoyment of a nighttime walk.
Hongcheon Mugunghwa Arboretum is Korea's first public arboretum established around the theme of Mugunghwa, or the Rose of Sharon. It officially opened in 2017 to preserve Mugunghwa and commemorate Namgung Eok's love for the flower. Equipped with 16 themed gardens, including Namgung Eok Plaza, the Mugunghwa Variety Garden, and the Mugunghwa Maze Garden, as well as forest walking trails, it offers a variety of attractions throughout the seasons.
