"Prepare for Chuseok Shopping in One Go"—Coupang Discounts About 4,800 Gifts and Foods

[Financial News] Ahead of Chuseok, Coupang is offering discounts on about 4,800 products, ranging from fresh-food gift sets to foods for the holiday table.
According to industry sources on the 15th, Coupang is holding the “Rocket Fresh Chuseok Gift Sets and Holiday Food Discount Event” through the 25th, offering discounts on fresh-food gift sets and holiday foods.
The event features three themed sections—the Main Deals section, Gift Sets section, and Grocery Shopping section—so customers can prepare Chuseok gifts and holiday groceries in one place.
Coupang is offering about 1,100 gift sets featuring fruit, meat, and seafood, as well as dried persimmons, mushrooms, ginseng, grains, ham and processed meat, rice cakes, bakery products, and beverages. It has also prepared about 3,700 foods for the holiday table and family gatherings, including songpyeon, jeon, and dumplings. The event features about 4,800 products in total.
About 200 brands and businesses, including Nonghyup Ansim Hanwoo, Idong Galbi, vecchiaenuovo, Shilla Myunggua, and Samjin Fish Cake, are participating in the event. The gift sets are organized by price range, from practical products priced below 30,000 won to products in the 30,000–50,000 won range and premium products priced at 100,000 won or more.
The event also offers various discounts. Customers can receive an immediate discount when purchasing event products, while some products are eligible for a card discount of up to 10%. Coupon discounts are also available based on the purchase amount: 10,000 won for purchases of 100,000 won or more, 25,000 won for purchases of 200,000 won or more, and 45,000 won for purchases of 300,000 won or more.
A Coupang representative said, "We have prepared a wide range of products, from premium gift sets for expressing gratitude during Chuseok to practical products and foods needed for the holiday table," adding, "We hope customers can prepare for Chuseok more easily and economically through various discounts and Rocket Fresh’s convenient delivery service."
