"A Virtuous Cycle of Giving"—Kyochon F&B Organizes Experiential Learning Trip for Young Adults Preparing for Independence and Students in a Special-Education Class

[Financial News] Kyochon F&B conducted a volunteer activity involving an airport railway experiential learning program for students in a special-education class.
According to industry sources on the 15th, Kyochon F&B’s in-house Barugo Volunteer Group held an airport railway experiential learning program with students from the special-education class at Seoul’s Geumho Elementary School on the 11th.
Young adults participating in Kyochon’s Dream of Youth self-reliance support program took part in the volunteer effort. Having received support through the program, which is operated in partnership with ChildFund Korea, they joined as volunteers to assist the students during their experiential learning trip, adding meaning to the act of giving back.
The young volunteers were paired one-on-one with the students and accompanied them throughout the program to ensure a safe experience, from using the subway to receiving instruction at the city airport terminal and completing boarding procedures.
At Incheon International Airport, the participants enjoyed a range of activities, including riding electric carts, having lunch, and visiting the airport observation deck and the Korea Culture Museum.
Launched in 2023, the Barugo Volunteer Group is an initiative involving Kyochon employees, franchise owners, and customers. It has consistently organized volunteer activities that accompany members of future generations and provide them with diverse experiences. This year, the group has continued activities with various schools, beginning with the production of tactile Braille kits for children with visual impairments and including experiential learning programs at an automotive cultural complex and the National Museum of Korea, as well as disaster-safety training.
A Kyochon F&B representative said, "The experience shared by the young adults preparing for independence and the students in the special-education class is likely to have been meaningful for everyone involved." The representative added, "We will continue carrying out social contribution activities through the Barugo Volunteer Group so that young adults preparing for independence and members of future generations can participate together."
