According to LH on the 15th, Sanbon District 9-2 is planned to have 3,376 households. Among the leading districts in the first-generation new towns involving LH, it is the project site where the maintenance district and project implementer were designated most quickly.
The district was designated and officially announced as a special maintenance district in December last year under the Special Act on the Maintenance and Support of Aging Planned Cities. In March this year, LH was designated as the project implementer.
The contractor selection process will be conducted through competitive bidding under the Act on the Improvement of Urban Areas and Residential Environments. After soliciting bids from construction companies, the residents’ representative council will recommend the final candidate through a vote by land and building owners around January next year.
As the project implementer, LH will select the recommended contractor and sign a contract. Once the contractor selection process is complete, the project is scheduled to pursue project implementation approval in 2027.
Residents’ opinions were reflected in the bidding criteria. In consultation with the residents’ representative council, LH raised the required level of finishing materials and prepared customized bidding guidelines that take the characteristics of the project site into account.
An LH official said, "Based on active communication with the residents’ representative council, we have incorporated residents’ needs into the bidding criteria as much as possible by raising the required level of finishing materials and preparing customized bidding guidelines." The official added, "We will do our utmost to transform Sanbon District 9-2 into a premium residential complex."
