[Financial News] Jang In-hwa, honorary chairman of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has been selected as the eighth chairperson of the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership.
The Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership held its 89th meeting at Kensington Hotel Yeouido on the 15th and selected Jang as its eighth chairperson.
The commission selected Jang after gathering opinions and receiving recommendations from economic organizations and related institutions. His term is two years, and his official tenure will begin on the 23rd.
The newly appointed chair, Jang, is a prominent business leader with extensive experience in industry and regional economies. He has served as chairman of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, senior vice chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), chairman of the Busan Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (BCCEI), and vice chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs (KBIZ).
He has also been active in the community and sports sectors, serving as chairman of the Busan Metropolitan City Sports Council and head of South Korea's delegation to the Tokyo Olympics.
