Jeong Jeom-sig continued, "Before Democratic Party of Korea lawmaker Yong Hye-in resigned as a nominee for minister of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the Democratic Party of Korea took a critical stance, saying that it 'respects the voice of the people.' If it applies the same standard to the other ministerial nominees, not a single one of them could be appointed," he said.

He sarcastically remarked, "Kang Shin-chul, the nominee for minister of the Ministry of National Defense, carried out a 'landing operation in Gangnam' by pretending that his entire family were people facing eviction."
He continued, "Hong Ji-seon, the nominee for minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, pooled every available source of funds—including a mortgage loan and money from his in-laws—to buy an apartment in Seoul. His policy is public housing, but his own life is that of a homeowner with an apartment in Seoul." He also criticized Lee Hyoung-il, the nominee for minister of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, saying, "He has owned an apartment for 17 years, but has lived there for only four months."
Jeong Jeom-sig sharply told President Lee Jae Myung, "If you want to send a signal that the president has changed, you must show your determination to completely reverse the direction of state affairs by 180 degrees." Photo and video: Reporter Seo Dong-il
