Excavator Collides with Mobility Scooter, Killing Driver

【Financial News Gunsan = Kang In】 An excavator collided with a mobility scooter used as a walking aid on a road in Okseo-myeon, Gunsan, Jeonbuk, at around noon on the 14th.
A woman in her 60s, identified as A, was riding the mobility scooter when she lost consciousness and collapsed. She was taken to a hospital but died.
Police believe the excavator caused the accident after failing to see the mobility scooter traveling ahead. They are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
