[Financial News] The Korea Local Administration Mutual Aid Association is strengthening direct communication with local government officials nationwide. The move aims to broaden contact between the association and its members by expanding welfare and support services that members can actually experience, in addition to improving asset management performance.
According to the association on the 14th, it conducted on-site promotional and communication activities for members at the 21st MOIS and Metropolitan/Provincial Government Officials’ Friendship Sports Festival, held on the 11th and 12th in Jeonju-si and at the Local Government Officials Development Institute (LOGODI).
The association set up a promotional booth and a beverage truck at the event and held participant events and prize giveaways. It also provided information on the mutual aid program and welfare services on-site, making it easier for members to learn about them.
The event drew particular attention because the association has visited the sports festival for the third consecutive year, rather than treating it as a one-off event.
As local government officials nationwide make up the association’s core membership, the association explained that it is steadily expanding opportunities to hear their opinions directly and reflect them in member services.
