Han Dong-hoon Lectures at Dong-A University: “Young People Should Take an Interest in Politics”

[Financial News] Independent National Assembly member Han Dong-hoon, whose constituency is Buk District, Busan, delivered a lecture at Dong-A University on “Busan, Local Talent, the Future, and Youth Leadership and Career Paths.”
Dong-A University announced on the 14th that it had hosted a special lecture with Han Dong-hoon as the guest speaker. About 200 university faculty members, staff and others attended the lecture at Cheongchon Hall on the Seunghak Campus, including President Lee Hae-woo, Han Dong-hoon, Academic Affairs Director Mira Jun, Student and Talent Development Director Choi Ji-eun, and Student Council President Jang Se-young.
Han Dong-hoon said, “There is no predetermined navigation system for life, but everyone should have at least one compass pointing toward the common good.” He added, “I hope young people will boldly forge their own paths with passionate enthusiasm and cool-headed judgment.” He continued, “Young people in Busan should be able to find jobs and pursue their dreams in Busan,” adding, “I will build the foundation for the Busan–Ulsan–Gyeongnam region to grow into a single megalopolis and compete confidently with Seoul.”
Han Dong-hoon urged young people to take an active interest in and participate in politics. He said, “Young people are the generation most directly and most persistently affected by political decisions,” adding, “I hope they will raise their voices and expand their influence themselves.”
