24-Hour Care for Jeonbuk’s People with the Most Severe Developmental Disabilities; Changhye Welfare Foundation Selected

【Financial News Jeonju=Kang In】 Jeonbuk State is expanding the number of providers offering 24-hour individualized one-to-one integrated care to support stable daily lives for people with the most severe developmental disabilities.
Jeonbuk State announced on the 14th that it had selected Changhye Welfare Foundation as a new provider responsible for integrated care services for people with the most severe developmental disabilities.
Jeonbuk State recently signed a service-concession agreement with Changhye Welfare Foundation and will expand the service beginning in October.
Changhye Welfare Foundation will complete preparations and provide 24-hour care and individualized activities for each user. At night, care will be provided in separate residential spaces.
With the selection of the new provider, the number of providers in the province offering 24-hour individualized one-to-one support has increased to two.
The integrated care service for people with the most severe developmental disabilities provides individualized care to those who have difficulty using existing care services because of challenging behaviors such as self-harm and violence.
An official from Jeonbuk State said, "We will continue providing support so that people with the most severe developmental disabilities can access the care services they need more reliably and so that the caregiving burden on their families can be reduced."
