[Financial News] SNT Energy announced on the 14th that it attended the completion ceremony for the HD Hyundai E&F Daesan LNG cogeneration project, held at the HD Hyundai Oilbank Daesan plant in South Chungcheong Province.
Representatives of major affiliates, including HD Hyundai Oilbank, HD Hyundai E&F, and Hyundai Engineering, as well as project officials, attended the event and jointly commemorated the project’s completion.
The HD Hyundai E&F Daesan LNG cogeneration project was launched to provide a stable supply of electricity and steam needed by industrial facilities in the Daesan area of Seosan, South Chungcheong Province. It has a generation capacity of approximately 290 MW.
SNT Energy won a contract from Hyundai Engineering to supply heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) and successfully completed timely delivery and performance testing.
An HRSG is a key power-generation facility that recovers high-temperature exhaust gas from a gas turbine to produce steam. It improves energy efficiency and helps ensure a stable supply of steam needed by power plants and industrial facilities.
Through this project, SNT Energy demonstrated its technological expertise and execution capabilities in HRSGs linked to medium-sized gas turbines, strengthening its competitiveness in the power and energy plant market.
