WebCash successfully completes ‘Public-Finance AX Strategy Seminars’ across four regions nationwide

[Financial News] WebCash, a financial AI company, said on the 14th that it had successfully completed the ‘Public-Finance AX Strategy Seminars,’ held from the 1st through the 9th in four regions nationwide: Seoul, Naju, Daejeon, and Busan.
The seminars were organized to share practical ways to apply AI to finance, treasury, and audit operations as demand for AI-based work transformation (AX) at public institutions continues to grow. Finance and treasury officials from public institutions in each region attended. In all four regions, applications exceeded the available capacity, reflecting strong interest in public-finance AX.
The program consisted of four sessions: insights into financial-work innovation and responses to management evaluations; the e-Education Treasury transition case; the practical implementation of an AI MIS at G Bank; and ‘the last mile of work’ completed with AXPort. Based on actual implementation cases, the sessions introduced AI-based work-transformation approaches that public institutions could apply, including querying and analyzing financial data and automating repetitive tasks.
The first session examined why AX is needed in public-finance operations. WebCash explained that, as workloads increase while staffing remains limited, finance officials spend considerable time on repetitive data-query, compilation, and reconciliation tasks, increasing the need to use AI.
WebCash then introduced a public-finance AX model using the financial-data query agent OPERIA through the e-Education Treasury transition case. OPERIA provides natural-language-based query and analysis functions while retaining existing systems and data, enabling officials to find the information they need without navigating complex menus or query conditions.
In a presentation on the G Bank AI MIS implementation case, WebCash shared how a data-query AI agent applied in the financial sector is changing the way employees use data. The company presented a structure and verification process that allows finance officials to query and analyze the data they need using natural-language questions, without requesting assistance from the IT department. WebCash emphasized that public institutions can also prepare to introduce AX step by step, beginning with priority tasks suited to each institution’s circumstances.
WebCash also proposed a way to improve, under the leadership of frontline employees, ‘last-mile work’ that relies on manual processes because it is not covered by existing systems, using the vibe-coding platform AXPort, which enables employees to create work-related apps. AXPort allows non-developer employees to build work-related apps in a browser-based environment, while institutions and companies can manage them within their security, access-control, and audit frameworks. WebCash explained that AXPort can supplement institution-specific exception handling and Excel-based data compilation tasks.
