Lotte Tour Development to Charter and Operate 170,000-Ton-Class Mega Cruise Ship

Lotte Tour Development will charter and operate a 170,000-ton-class mega cruise ship.
Lotte Tour Development announced on the 14th that it had launched a six-night, seven-day cruise package visiting three Asian countries. The ship will depart from Incheon Port on June 14 next year, call at Keelung in Taiwan and Sasebo in Japan, and then return.
The ship is MSC Cruises’ MSC Bellissima. This marks the first time a 170,000-ton-class cruise ship has been chartered for operation in Korea. Measuring 315.83 meters in length, it can accommodate approximately 5,600 passengers and more than 1,500 crew members.
The cruise will depart from Incheon Port, visit Keelung and Sasebo, and return to Incheon. Three days of the itinerary will be full days at sea, allowing passengers to enjoy the ship’s facilities and programs.
Onboard facilities include Galleria Bellissima, an LED-domed sky promenade, as well as an aqua park, jogging track, fitness center, Himalayan Bridge, and LEGO Club. The ship will also operate MSC Yacht Club, which offers access to a dedicated restaurant and lounge, swimming pool, and other facilities.
Lotte Tour Development plans to deploy more than 100 Korean staff members to provide Korean-language onboard newspapers and services, while also offering Korean cuisine. It will additionally organize its own onboard programs, including a star show and a singing competition.
