Hanssem Co., Ltd. launches low-profile 2-in-1 mattress 'Balance Kids'

[Financial News] Hanssem Co., Ltd. introduces the 'Balance Kids 2-in-1' and 'Balance Kids Solid,' low-profile children's mattresses designed with the safety of children starting to sleep independently for the first time and changes in their body shape at each stage of growth in mind.
According to Hanssem Co., Ltd. on the 14th, the Balance Kids 2-in-1 mattress, featuring a low-profile height of 20 cm, was designed with a double-sided structure that allows users to select the firmness according to the child's growth stage, based on the understanding that the sleep environments needed during infancy and growth differ. It features a proprietary double-sided spring with different top and bottom shapes, enabling both a soft comfort zone and a firm support zone to be incorporated into a single spring.
Young children weighing 14 kg or less should use the hard side, which prevents the body from sinking into the mattress and helps ensure safe breathing during sleep. During the growth period, as the child's weight increases, the medium side, which evenly distributes body pressure, should be used.
The Balance Kids Solid mattress is designed with an ultra-low profile of 16 cm to enhance 'safety,' the most important factor when a child first begins sleeping independently. It features a firm hard level tailored to the child's sleeping environment, preventing the body from sinking in excessively.
As the new product comes into direct contact with a child's body, it was developed in accordance with strict quality standards. It passed more than 60 safety tests, including supplier conformity verification for children's products and tests for hazardous chemicals and allergenic dyes. Safety testing for eight types of radioactive substances, including radon, was completed through the KOTITI Testing & Research Institute. OEKO-TEX®-certified Class 1 yarn was used in the fabric that comes into direct contact with the skin to further enhance the product's safety.
