Korea Authority of Land & Infrastructure Safety Appoints Former PSS Official Kim Kwang Rae as New Standing Executive Director

[Financial News] Korea Authority of Land & Infrastructure Safety has appointed Kim Kwang Rae, former head of the Presidential Security Service’s Comprehensive Situation Room, as its new standing executive director.
The authority announced on the 14th that it had appointed Kim as a standing executive director. Under the relevant law, Kim will serve a two-year term.
Born in Seoul in 1971, Executive Director Kim served as head of the Security Division, head of the Security Planning Division, and head of the Comprehensive Situation Room at the Presidential Security Service. He has since worked as a special appointment professor in the Department of Security Martial Arts at Shin Ansan University. He earned a master’s degree in police and judicial administration from the Graduate School of Public Administration at Yonsei University and a doctorate in public administration from the graduate school of Jungwon University.
Kim is regarded as an expert with extensive experience and expertise in disaster and safety management. The authority expects him to contribute to the organization’s development.
The standing executive director of the Korea Authority of Land & Infrastructure Safety assists the president in contributing to public safety and welfare. The director also participates in the board of directors, the organization’s highest decision-making body, and deliberates on and votes on agenda items.
