[Financial News] BNK Securities announced on the 14th that it had signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with global cultural finance fintech startup EverTreasure to cooperate on fractional investment and security token offering (STO) businesses based on cultural content.
Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly identify and pursue fractional investment and security token businesses based on competitive cultural content, including films, performances, musicals, and works of art.
BNK Securities will handle arranging the issuance and distribution of security tokens, recruiting investors, and advising on compliance with relevant laws and regulations. EverTreasure will identify promising underlying assets, link them with blockchain technology, and operate the platform.
The two companies also plan to establish a cooperation framework covering the entire business, including due diligence on underlying assets, product structuring, joint responses to listings on distribution platforms, joint marketing and investor relations targeting institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals, and global business expansion through overseas entities.
Shin Myung-ho, CEO of BNK Securities, said, "This agreement marks a meaningful starting point for connecting the value of diverse cultural content with finance and providing investors with new investment opportunities." He added, "We will continue to identify security token businesses that utilize competitive real-world assets and expand related operations so that we can provide differentiated financial products and services."
