[Financial News] POSCO E&C’s THE SHARP Yeoju Station The First in Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province, begins its application process in earnest on the 14th.
The application schedule begins with special supply applications on the 14th, followed by first-priority applications on the 15th and second-priority applications on the 16th. Winners will be announced on the 22nd, while formal contracts will be signed at the model home over three days, from October 6 to 8.
To qualify for a first-priority application, applicants must be at least 19 years old and reside in Yeoju City or elsewhere in the Seoul metropolitan area as of the date of the housing recruitment announcement. Applicants must have held a housing subscription account for at least 12 months and meet the required deposit threshold. As the project is being supplied in a non-regulated area of the metropolitan region, homeowners and household members may also apply under the first-priority category, regardless of whether they own a home. There are no restrictions on winning again or mandatory owner-occupancy requirements, and presale rights may be resold six months after the winner announcement date.
The project received an enthusiastic response, with about 12,000 visitors over three days when the model home opened. That momentum is expected to continue in the current application process. As the first THE SHARP-branded apartment complex supplied in the Yeoju-Icheon area, it is drawing attention from end users with features including a four-bay, flat-plate layout, a flex room, and large community facilities spanning 3,900 square meters.
In terms of location, the Gyeonggang Line provides convenient access via Yeoju Station to major urban centers in the metropolitan area, including Pangyo and Bundang, a new town district in Seongnam, South Korea. The project also stands to benefit from planned expansions to the regional transportation network, including the Yeoju-Wonju Double-Track Railway and Great Train eXpress Line D (GTX-D).
THE SHARP Yeoju Station The First is located in the Hongmun 2 District Urban Development Area in Hongmun-dong, Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province. The project will comprise 696 households of 84-square-meter exclusive-use units across seven buildings, with two basement levels and up to 29 above-ground floors.
