Delivery Fees of Up to 1 Million Won to Be Provided to 22 Small Businesses Owned by People with Disabilities

[Financial News] Miral Welfare Foundation and CJ Logistics will provide delivery fee assistance and eco-friendly packaging materials to 22 small businesses owned by people with disabilities.
Miral Welfare Foundation said on the 14th that it would recruit participants for the fourth round of “Green Delivery Plus” from that day through the 30th, together with CJ Logistics and Community Chest of Korea.
The program is designed to ease small businesses’ logistics costs and help them transition to eco-friendly logistics. Starting with the fourth round this year, eligibility has been expanded to include small business owners with disabilities.
Applicants must be small business owners with disabilities whose household income is at or below 100% of the median household income. Businesses operated by a representative with a disability or employing people with disabilities may apply, and 22 businesses will be selected through document screening.
Each business will receive up to 1 million won in delivery fee assistance. Eco-friendly packaging materials worth 400,000 won, including one-touch paper boxes, paper tape, and honeycomb cushioning material, will also be provided free of charge.
In October, selected businesses will receive customized, in-person training. The program will cover topics needed to operate their businesses, including how to use eco-friendly packaging materials and the latest logistics trends.
Combining the delivery fee assistance limit and the value of the packaging materials, the total support is worth up to 1.4 million won per business. The program is structured to help reduce logistics costs and facilitate a shift in packaging methods by dividing support into delivery fees, packaging materials, and training.
