Man Turns to Robbery After Losing 16 Million Won at Adult PC Room, Flees After Stealing 12 Million Won

【Financial News Ulsan = Reporter Choi Soo-sang】Ulsan Southern Police Station said on the 14th that it had arrested and detained two men in their 30s, identified as A and B, on suspicion of special robbery.
According to police, A and others are suspected of threatening employees and stealing approximately 12 million won before fleeing after losing about 16 million won while playing games at an adult PC room in Dal-dong, Nam District, Ulsan, on the afternoon of the 8th.
Investigators said the suspects falsely told the employees, "I hit the jackpot, but the system rejected the payout," and demanded money. When their demand was refused, they threatened, "If you don't hand over the money, we'll smash up the entire business," while displaying their tattoos.
After receiving the report, police tracked A and B's escape routes and arrested them separately in Busan and Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province, within a day.
One of the suspects even locked himself inside his residence and resisted arrest, but police safely apprehended him with assistance from fire authorities.
Police recovered about half of the stolen money and are investigating how the remainder was spent.
