[Financial News] Adobe is partnering with the National Football League (NFL) to build an AI-powered content supply chain. The plan is to connect the entire process—from content creation and personalization to distribution—with AI, significantly reducing production time.
Adobe announced on the 14th that the NFL has built an AI-powered content supply chain based on Adobe CX Enterprise. As a result, the NFL and its 32 teams can streamline content creation, localization, management and global distribution, reducing tasks that previously took several days to minutes or even seconds.
At the center of the content supply chain is Adobe Experience Manager Assets and Content Hub. The platform serves as a single, centralized system for managing NFL content. It enables the league and its teams to quickly create and distribute campaign content while complying with brand guidelines.
The NFL has also introduced content automation using the generative AI tool Adobe Firefly. The system creates a range of creative assets based on real-time data and connects the entire workflow—from planning and production to review and approval—through Adobe Workfront.
A key example is the NFL's AI Template Assistant. It converts approved Adobe Photoshop creative assets into automated templates that can be reused across multiple campaigns. The AI Campaign Assistant extends this process to the campaign execution stage, enabling the creation of large volumes of content based on a single approved creative asset.
The NFL has strengthened security alongside content production efficiency. It introduced a zero-trust visibility model that allows each team to access only NFL-approved shared assets and its own content. This enables all 32 teams to collaborate on a single platform while separating information belonging to rival teams and protecting intellectual property (IP).
The impact of the AI-powered content supply chain is particularly evident during real-time events such as the NFL Draft. By directly connecting content workflows to NFL data, information and images of drafted players are automatically incorporated into creative assets. As a result, production time has been reduced from about three hours to four or five minutes. The NFL also plans to expand multilingual content production ahead of the 2026–2027 season.
