Dong-A University Holds Presentation Ceremony for Mugunghwa and Ieum Scholarships

[Financial News] Dong-A University’s Department of Food and Nutrition held a presentation ceremony for its third Mugunghwa Scholarship and seventh Ieum Scholarship, the university announced on the 14th.
The scholarships were established in 2023 by the Department of Food and Nutrition Professors’ Scholarship Association, funded through contributions from all department professors to encourage enrolled students who will grow into future leaders. The Mugunghwa Scholarship was created in memory of the late Professor Ahn Mok-ryeon, who died in 2024, with additional donations from her bereaved family.
At the ceremony, third-year student Sieun Lee and second-year student Park Na-gyeong each received a scholarship of 500,000 won. The Ieum Scholarship, established by the Department of Food and Nutrition Alumni Scholarship Association, was awarded to third-year student Park Jun-seong and first-year student Choi Gyeong-hyang.
The four scholarship recipients said, "We will keep the noble intentions of our professors and alumni seniors, as well as the meaning of these scholarships, deep in our hearts and devote ourselves to our studies so that we can grow into outstanding talents who further enhance the reputation of Dong-A University’s Department of Food and Nutrition."
