Referring to the resignation of Yong Hye-in, the nominee for Minister of Gender Equality and Family, Representative Jang stated, "The next turn is nominee Kim Seung-won. People openly talk about 'Kim-saeng-yong-sa,' but it is nonsense."
He criticized, "Candidate Kim sucked the blood of stock investors through lobbying and illicit solicitations, and created a family association to siphon off public tax money with his entire family," adding, "He sent his son and daughter to good schools through fraudulent residency registration and meticulously filled his resume with even a criminal record for drunk driving."
He continued by pointing out, "Isn't the reason the President and the Democratic Party are going all-in on saving Private Kim Seung-won ultimately to get the indictment dropped? An 'absolution for Lee Jae-myung' is more important than public sentiment and people's livelihoods," adding, "Even if they forcibly push through the withdrawal of the indictment, it will only extend the prison terms of President Lee and his collaborators."
Regarding nominee Yong, Representative Jang stated, "The President's 'Operation Yong Hye-in' has ultimately failed. The 'Lee Jae-myung leftist cartel' has knelt before the public sentiment of Seongnam. I hope President Lee takes responsibility for this personnel disaster and apologizes," adding, "While we are at it, the Basic Income Party, an organization of the Family Income Party, must be expelled from the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea."
