This trade mission will take place in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, and Tbilisi, Georgia, from November 8 to 14, and will support local companies in opening up overseas markets through local export consultations.
The recruitment scale is approximately 10 small and medium-sized enterprises located in Busan with annual exports of $30 million or less. It covers the entire consumer goods sector.
The Caucasus region serves as a strategic trading hub connecting Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East. Due to its high dependence on imports of consumer goods, there is potential for local companies to explore new markets.
In particular, with the rising interest in Hallyu content such as K-drama and K-pop, it is considered a region with high potential for new market entry for related Busan consumer goods companies, including cosmetics and food.
The Agency supports participating companies in generating tangible export results by assisting with the identification of local buyers, one-on-one consultation matching, interpretation services, and local transportation.
In addition, there are plans to alleviate the financial burden of overseas expansion for participating companies by supporting 50% of the round-trip airfare for one business traveler.
Companies wishing to participate can apply online through the Busan Export Platform by the 28th.
