OSSTEM IMPLANT Marks 100th 'Faculty Seminar' for Dentist Clinical Education

[Financial News] OSSTEM IMPLANT's 'Faculty Seminar,' a clinical education program for dentists, has reached its 100th session.
OSSTEM IMPLANT announced on the 14th that it held the '100th Faculty Seminar' at Magog Twin Tower in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on the 12th.
The Faculty Seminar is an educational program in which faculty from domestic dental schools, academic societies, and clinical experts participate to share the latest dental knowledge and clinical experiences. It began in March 2016 and continued every month for 10 years.
Invited dental colleges or academic societies have directly organized the educational topics and content, covering a wide range of fields including not only implant surgery and prosthetics but also orthodontics, digital dentistry, dental materials, and oral health. Another feature is the shift away from lecture-centered education to strengthen discussions and the exchange of ideas between speakers and participants.
OSSTEM IMPLANT has expanded its educational business for dentists, focusing on education in the field of implants. In 2001, it established the 'Osstem Implant Training Center (OIC),' the first specialized implant training institution in Korea, and since 2018, it has been operating the 'Master Course,' which provides step-by-step education ranging from basic theory to surgery and advanced courses.
The expansion of educational infrastructure overseas is also underway. Currently, 38 local OICs are operated in 34 countries, and more than 100 of the approximately 140 permanent training centers have been established overseas. The cumulative number of dentists at home and abroad who have completed the OSSTEM IMPLANT education program has reached 150,000.
Online education is also being conducted. Through the dental professional portal 'OSSTEM,' content such as the Master Course, Faculty Seminar, online surgery, and case discussions is provided.
The 100th special seminar was held under the theme "Beyond the 100th, Toward the Future with OSSTEM IMPLANT." The event featured a commemorative video reviewing the history of the past, along with lectures covering the long-term stability of implant treatment and the latest treatment concepts. Original speakers who have participated since the first seminar also returned to the podium.
An official from OSSTEM IMPLANT said, "We will develop the Faculty Seminar into an educational platform that connects new clinical knowledge and future technologies to keep pace with the rapidly changing dental healthcare environment driven by the introduction of digital and AI technologies."
