The event will feature a range of programs, including longevity portrait photography for senior citizens, health measurements, health consultations, and on-site customer service consultations for metro passengers.
Forty senior citizens will be selected for the longevity portrait session: 20 will be chosen by lottery from those who apply in advance through Naver Form, and another 20 from those who apply on-site. The session will be conducted as a talent donation by an employee responsible for the corporation's official documentary photography. After retouching, the photographs will be framed and presented to the senior citizens at 4 p.m. on October 15 at Metro Lounge Gwangan.
At the metro customer service consultation booth, citizens—including transportation-vulnerable people such as senior citizens and people with disabilities—can ask questions about matters they have wondered about while using the metro and offer various suggestions.
The National Health Insurance Service will operate health measurement and consultation booths. Visitors' basic health conditions will be assessed through blood pressure, InBody, and stress measurements, and they will receive consultations on their health examination results. Information will also be provided on assistive devices such as hearing aids and wheelchairs, as well as long-term care insurance for senior citizens and integrated care services. Souvenirs will be given to visitors, and a prize roulette event will also be held to add to the festive atmosphere.
Lee Byeong-jin, president of Busan Transportation Corporation, said, "We prepared this event to provide local senior citizens with health and joy amid the warm and abundant atmosphere of the holiday season." He added, "Going forward, we will continue working with relevant local organizations to strengthen community-based services that communicate closely with citizens."
