Busan Metropolitan Council Launches Legislative Advisory Committee for First Half of 10th Term

[Financial News] The Busan Metropolitan Council newly formed the Legislative Advisory Committee for the first half of its 10th term and held an appointment ceremony in the council’s main conference room on the afternoon of the 11th, it said on the 14th.
At the ceremony, Kang Mu Gil, chair of the Busan Metropolitan Council, presented letters of appointment to 48 advisory committee members across seven subcommittees. He then listened to the members’ diverse opinions and established the committee’s operating direction going forward.
The newly appointed advisory committee members will serve a two-year term through June 30, 2028, gathering a range of opinions on policies aimed at advancing the council’s legislative affairs. They will also serve as an advisory body by proposing alternatives in their areas of expertise.
Meanwhile, during the ninth council, seven subcommittees were formed, and a total of 45 activities—including forums and meetings—were held under their auspices.
The subcommittees also actively advised on various agenda items, including council ordinances, and proposed policy alternatives for municipal issues.
