Kyochon F&B Launches 30 Million Won Support Program for People from Migrant Backgrounds

[Financial News] Kyochon F&B is operating a 30 million won community support program that provides chicken-sharing events and cultural experiences to around 40 organizations supporting people from migrant backgrounds nationwide.
According to industry sources on the 14th, Kyochon F&B launched the “3rd Kyochon Support Program for People from Migrant Backgrounds” on the 9th by delivering sponsorship funds to Friends Migrant Center in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, to support a chicken-sharing event.
The program has a total budget of 30 million won, including 20 million won in sponsorship funds and expenses for various activities.
Launched in 2024, the program is now in its third year. It was created to help adolescents and adult learners from migrant backgrounds adapt to Korean society. This year’s program consists of two components: “Our Good Taste” and “Our Style.”
“Our Good Taste” is an event that supports Kyochon Chicken parties at around 40 organizations supporting people from migrant backgrounds nationwide, in cooperation with Friends Migrant Center and the Seoul Global Youth Education Center.
“Our Style” provides post-adolescent youth from migrant backgrounds with opportunities to explore career paths by visiting Kyochon F&B’s headquarters and affiliates. The Seoul Global Youth Education Center, Suwon Global Youth Dream Center, Ansan Global Youth Center and Hwaseong Global Youth Center are participating in the program. Participants will also visit major Korean attractions, including Korean Folk Village, Icheon Ye’s Park and Namsan, to experience Korean culture firsthand.
A Kyochon F&B official said, “As the population of people from migrant backgrounds continues to grow, Kyochon is steadily expanding its support from adolescents to adults. We hope Kyochon’s social contribution efforts will help many migrants grow and settle stably.”
