[Financial News] Naver Pay has signed a business agreement with HiConsi, an edtech company that operates Sidae Injae and other services. The companies plan to introduce Naver Pay’s payment solutions to HiConsi’s online and offline education services, aiming to transform the user experience.
According to industry sources on the 14th, the two companies will apply the N Pay Biz Payment Solution to HiConsi’s online and offline education services under the agreement.
The solution provides payment and settlement infrastructure within merchants’ own environments and supports the development of payment services optimized for each merchant’s brand.
By the end of this year, the solution will first be introduced at 11 offline locations nationwide, including Sidae Injae Daechi, operated by HiConsi, as well as on the Sidae Injae C website, which provides Sidae Injae content. It will then be expanded sequentially across the company’s services. Supported payment methods will include N Pay Money, N Pay Points, card payments, and linked virtual-account payments.
The companies will also discuss introducing an in-house branded simple-payment service for use within HiConsi’s services.
They will additionally review ways to introduce the offline integrated terminal Npay Connect and the FaceSign facial-recognition access and authentication service into HiConsi’s offline locations for student verification, access control, and attendance procedures.
Park Sang-jin, head of Naver Pay, said, "We will make every effort to provide services that improve both operators’ efficiency and users’ convenience, drawing on N Pay’s diverse technological capabilities, including payment and authentication."
