Hancom Launches the World’s First AI Workforce Platform, ‘NOMADIAN’

[Financial News] Hancom is launching ‘NOMADIAN,’ the world’s first artificial intelligence (AI) workforce platform to create a 3D workspace based on its proprietary agentic OS. NOMADIAN is a global agentic OS product targeting one-person entrepreneurs in the United States.
Hancom announced on the 14th that it has formed a dedicated task force (TFT) and is carrying out the ‘NOMADIAN Project.’ NOMADIAN will be offered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that users can access directly on the web without installation. A beta version will be released first in the United States this December, followed by the launch of a full subscription service in 2027.
NOMADIAN was designed around three key features: AI teams organized by job function, a 3D office that shows the work process, and humans retaining final approval authority.
First, users can hire AI as if they were employees through NOMADIAN. When they select a needed role, such as a data analyst, content marketer, or email marketer, the work tools used for that role are connected as well. If no agent is available for the desired role, users can create one themselves and assign it to work. 
The process of AI employees working unfolds in a 3D virtual office called ‘Room.’ AI employees move as characters, making it immediately visible who worked on what, which tools they used, how far they progressed, and to whom the results were passed. This distinguishes NOMADIAN from conventional chat-based AI, which typically provides only the final result. Because Room remembers brand guidelines and work rules, users do not need to issue the same instructions for every task.
NOMADIAN also includes a safeguard that gives users final approval authority over important tasks. Before irreversible actions, such as sending an email or applying an electronic signature, an AI employee stops and requests the user’s approval. 
NOMADIAN is being developed based on Hancom’s agentic OS. Hancom commercialized AI agents using its 36 years of document software expertise and developed them into an agentic OS that coordinates and controls multiple agents. This provides the technical foundation for quickly commercializing the product after launching the NOMADIAN Project. Hancom explained that NOMADIAN is the first AI workforce platform to bring together agents that directly create various outputs, including documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials, as a team and implement them in a 3D space.
An agentic OS is a platform for creating, running, and controlling multiple AI agents in one place. It handles orchestration, in which a higher-level agent assigns roles to lower-level agents, directs their work, and compiles the results; approval controls before irreversible actions; and permission management to prevent access to unauthorized tools.
Hancom designed NOMADIAN with the United States market in mind. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are 30.4 million nonemployer businesses operating without employees, with annual revenue totaling $1.8 trillion. Hancom is discussing market-entry and commercialization strategies with local companies. After its launch in the United States, the company plans to expand the business to South Korea, Europe, and other regions.
Kim Yeon-su, CEO of Hancom, emphasized, "More than 30 million businesses in the United States operate without employees. NOMADIAN provides them not just with simple work tools, but with AI employees and teams to work alongside them," adding, "We will open a market where individuals themselves become businesses and establish the standard for the global AI workforce market."
