[Financial News] IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, an affiliate of HDC Group, has created the Symphony Classroom Forest, an eco-friendly space for students.
IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY said on the 14th that it held an opening ceremony for the Symphony Classroom Forest at Seoul Dorim Elementary School in Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul, on the 10th.
The Symphony Classroom Forest is a social contribution program designed to raise environmental awareness among future generations and create a pleasant educational environment. In cooperation with Good Neighbors, IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY has placed a variety of plants in unused school spaces, helping students encounter nature in their daily lives and learn about the importance of the environment.
The ceremony was attended by Noh Jin-woo, principal of Seoul Dorim Elementary School; Jang Seong-gye, head of Good Neighbors; and Shin Wang-seop, director at IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, among others.
In August, IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY opened a Symphony Classroom Forest at Seoul Sinmok Elementary School in Yangcheon District, Seoul. Next month, it plans to open this year's final Symphony Classroom Forest at Seoul Samkwang Elementary School in Yongsan District, Seoul.
IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY plans to continue creating eco-friendly spaces where students can encounter nature in their daily lives and learn the value of environmental protection. Even after each space is established, the company will support activities in which students directly participate in and care for the space, allowing them to practice environmental protection.
A representative of IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY said, "We created the Classroom Forest at Seoul Dorim Elementary School so that children can connect with nature in their daily lives and naturally learn the importance of the environment." The representative added, "We hope the project will go beyond creating an eco-friendly space and lead to experiences in which students practice environmental protection by directly caring for the space and taking part in related activities."
Meanwhile, IPARK HYUNDAI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY is carrying out social contribution activities in various fields, including education, the environment and housing. After signing a business agreement with Good Neighbors in 2024, it has continued projects focused on environmental education for future generations and the creation of eco-friendly spaces.
