[Financial News] VISANG Education announced on the 14th that it has officially launched Gichul PICK, a brand specializing in past exam questions for middle- and high-school internal assessments, and will begin targeting the school-exam publishing market in earnest.
The move separates and elevates Wanja Gichul PICK, previously operated as a sub-line under Wanja, VISANG Education's flagship brand for concept-based study materials, into an independent brand. The company aims to strengthen its position in the educational publishing market by presenting its expertise in analyzing internal-assessment questions and solving practical problems directly linked to school exams as the brand's sole focus.
The newly launched Gichul PICK will make its debut with four new titles for high-school science career-track elective subjects: Mechanics and Energy, Matter and Energy, Cells and Metabolism, and Earth System Sciences. Starting with these titles, VISANG Education plans to gradually convert textbooks previously published under Wanja Gichul PICK in mathematics, science and social studies to the Gichul PICK brand, eventually expanding the lineup to cover all middle- and high-school subjects.
Gichul PICK focuses on meticulously analyzing past internal-assessment questions from middle and high schools nationwide and selecting the key questions essential for exam preparation. The books cover a broad range of material, including major concepts and frequently tested question types, as well as written-response and advanced-level questions, enabling students to develop practical test-taking skills.
A VISANG Education official said, "Building on our expertise in analyzing past exam questions, we are making a fresh start as an independent brand specializing in internal-assessment questions." The official added, "We will closely analyze past exam questions from schools nationwide and continue providing core content that helps students effectively prepare for their actual school exams."
