EtoosBook Upgrades Three ‘Word Master Middle School’ Volumes to Reflect the 2022 Revised Curriculum

[Financial News] EtoosEdu announced on the 14th that its publishing brand, EtoosBook, has released revised editions of the three-volume English vocabulary series “Word Master Middle School,” incorporating the 2022 revised national curriculum. The revised editions comprehensively analyze major middle school textbooks and vocabulary recommended by the Ministry of Education, fully updating the headwords and example sentences to reflect current educational standards.
The newly released series consists of three volumes: Basic (BASIC), Intermediate, and Advanced. The difficulty levels have been adjusted so learners can build their skills progressively, from basic to advanced vocabulary, according to their proficiency. Each volume is designed to help students focus on learning 1,000 frequently used words over 40 days, studying 25 words a day.
The series also features an enhanced structure designed to improve learning efficiency. Words are organized by topic to encourage memorization through association, while learning tips—including synonyms, antonyms, collocations, and grammar rules—are provided alongside the headwords to help students understand how the words are used in a broader range of contexts. The workbooks are systematically organized to support cumulative daily, weekly, and monthly review.
The books have also been more closely integrated with digital learning environments. All vocabulary and example sentences included in the textbooks can be memorized and tested through a dedicated mobile app. In addition, listening QR codes have been added to portable mini-books, creating an online-offline learning system that allows students to repeatedly study vocabulary anytime and anywhere.
Nam Hyung-joo, head of EtoosEdu’s Publishing Business Division, explained, “We carefully refined the content and difficulty levels by considering both the latest curriculum and the actual learning levels of middle school students.” He added, “By linking online and offline learning tools, we have made it possible for students to study English vocabulary more efficiently, where repetition is essential.”
