Megazone Cloud, AWS and KASA Join Forces to Support Startups

Megazone Cloud announced on the 14th that it is recruiting Korean startups to participate in AWS Space Accelerator: Korea 2026, together with AWS and KASA.
AWS Space Accelerator is a global program that provides cloud technology and business mentoring to support the technological capabilities and business growth of startups in the space industry. Launched in 2021, the program has supported the establishment and expansion of space startups in the United States, Australia, India and Japan.
This year’s Korean program will select 15–20 startups working in satellite manufacturing and operations, Earth observation, launch vehicles, in-orbit services, space communications, space AI and space software. Startups based in Korea, from the early stage through the Pre-Series B stage, may apply if they plan to develop space systems using AWS.
Selected companies will receive cloud and AI technology sessions, hands-on labs and technical mentoring from experts. They will also have access to business coaching from space-industry experts on funding, market entry and pitching, as well as networking opportunities with industry stakeholders, including venture capital firms and potential customers. Support will also be provided for international exchanges through the AWS global Space Accelerator alumni network.
Through AWS Activate, AWS will provide participating companies with up to $100,000 worth of cloud credits, technical support and business coaching from industry experts. KASA will identify promising Korean space startups and connect them with government and industry networks.
As a collaborating partner, Megazone Cloud will support the overall operation of the program, including participant onboarding, hands-on labs and one-on-one technical mentoring from experts.
Applications will be accepted through Megazone Cloud’s tech blog, ITing, until October 2. Following screening and onboarding in October, the program will begin on October 27, with cloud and AI technology sessions, hands-on labs and business coaching running through November 13. Pitching linked to overseas space events, a final pitching day and a completion ceremony will also be held afterward.
