Yuhan Corporation announced on the 14th that it officially launched the “Yuhan Corporation Centennial Online Historical Archive” on the 11th.
The online archive was built based on “Yuhan Corporation: 100 Years of History,” compiled to commemorate the company’s centennial. It allows visitors to explore the company’s 100-year history of working to improve public health since its founding in 1926 through major milestones by era, photographs, and other materials.
Key content includes the management philosophy and life of founder Dr. Ilhan New, Yuhan Corporation’s growth, a centennial commemorative video and card-news content, and commemorative projects carried out this year.
“The Great Pioneer, Dr. Ilhan New” introduces the life of Dr. Ilhan New, who returned to Korea in 1926 after working as a businessman in the United States and founded Yuhan Corporation. It also highlights his belief in participating in the independence movement and donating his entire fortune to society, as well as his management philosophy that ownership and management of a company should be separated. The company explained that this philosophy has become the foundation of Yuhan Corporation’s current professional management system and corporate culture.
Yuhan Corporation created the online archive as a space to share with employees, customers, and the public the value of the company and the significance of its challenges over the past 100 years, going beyond a simple historical record. Its key content has been designed for the digital environment so that anyone can access it regardless of time or place.
A Yuhan Corporation representative said, “We hope the online historical archive will become a space to look back on Yuhan Corporation’s past 100 years and share its founding spirit and corporate values with future generations.” The representative added, “We will continue to pursue challenges and innovation as we build a new century for human health and a better society.”
Yuhan Corporation’s centennial online historical archive is available at “100.yuhan.co.kr.”
