"Helping Small Business Owners with Disabilities Become Self-Reliant"...CJ Logistics Recruits Participants for 'Green Delivery Plus 4th Cohort'

[Financial News] CJ Logistics is expanding the reach of its shared-growth logistics initiatives to vulnerable small business owners by reducing logistics costs for small business owners with disabilities and supporting their transition to eco-friendly packaging.
 According to industry sources on the 14th, CJ Logistics will launch the fourth Green Delivery Plus support program for 22 small businesses owned by people with disabilities.
 Now in its fourth year, Green Delivery Plus is a shared-growth program designed to ease small business owners' logistics costs and strengthen their competitiveness in eco-friendly logistics. This year, CJ Logistics will focus on supporting small business owners with disabilities in partnership with the Miral Welfare Foundation, a welfare organization specializing in services for people with disabilities.
 CJ Logistics plans to select 22 businesses that either are directly operated by representatives with disabilities or employ people with disabilities at a rate of at least 30%. The selected businesses must also have a high reliance on logistics, such as parcel shipping, and generate substantial packaging-material use.
 Selected businesses will receive delivery-cost support worth up to KRW 1 million, along with eco-friendly packaging materials worth KRW 400,000, including one-touch paper boxes and paper tape.
 The program will also offer in-person training on logistics operations and eco-friendly packaging practices. The training program in October will cover the use of eco-friendly packaging materials, such as tape-type shipping labels, film and corrugated cardboard, as well as the latest logistics trends.
 Small business owners with disabilities who wish to participate can apply by the 30th through the QR code on the recruitment poster or an online Google Forms link.
 A CJ Logistics representative said, "This program is a social-value creation initiative that lays the foundation for small business owners with disabilities to become self-reliant." The representative added, "We will continue working with the Community Chest of Korea and the Miral Welfare Foundation to build a healthy logistics ecosystem and support small business owners."
