[Financial News] Actor Lee Jung-jae offered a surprise teaser about his next project, saying, "There is a project that can be revealed within a few weeks."
From the 3rd to the 10th, Lee Jung-jae held a special Q&A event through his official TikTok account, taking questions directly from fans around the world. He answered questions submitted by fans on TikTok himself.
In response to a fan asking about the project he is currently preparing, Lee Jung-jae said, "There is a project that will be revealed within a few weeks, but it is still a secret."
The special Q&A event drew more than 11,000 questions over the course of a week, with fans participating from around the world, including South Korea, the United States, Latin America, Southeast Asia and Europe. The event announcement received more than 5.3 million views, while the question-submission content surpassed 8.2 million cumulative views.
When asked whether he would like to try playing a handsome villain, he replied, "If I am given the opportunity, I would like to try it," leaving the possibility open. As a genre he has yet to attempt, he chose "a fast-paced, tightly plotted thriller film."
Across the three-part TikTok Q&A, Lee Jung-jae’s genuine personal preferences—rarely revealed in his work or official interviews—also emerged one by one. In an either-or preference game, he chose coats over padded jackets, heat over cold and cold noodles in broth over spicy mixed cold noodles. He said that when choosing clothes, the most important factor for him is not the fit or overall mood, but the "color palette."
Lee Jung-jae, who has long been interested in architecture, said he had recently developed an interest in cooking and wanted to try it himself.
