Knife Attack in Central Seoul on Sunday Night; Man in His 80s Arrested at Scene After Stabbing Man in His 70s

[Financial News] A man in his 70s was injured in a weapon attack carried out by a man in his 80s on a street in central Seoul on Sunday evening.
According to police and fire authorities on the 13th, Seoul Dongdaemun Police Station arrested the man in his 80s, identified as B, at around 8:20 p.m. on a street in Jeonnong-dong, Dongdaemun District, Seoul. He was taken into custody on suspicion of aggravated injury and related offenses after allegedly wielding a weapon at A, a man in his 70s.
Fire authorities responded to a report at around 8:24 p.m. that "someone had been injured by a weapon." They found A lying at the scene with stab wounds to multiple parts of his body and transported him urgently to a nearby hospital. A is currently receiving treatment and is not in life-threatening condition. No additional victims were reported in connection with B's attack.
Police plan to question B, who was arrested at the scene, about his relationship with A, the specific motive for the attack and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
