Police Officer Accused of Abusing Female Subordinate and Making Sexually Harassing Remarks

[Financial News] A serving police officer in Jeju Province has been accused of repeatedly abusing a female subordinate and making sexually harassing remarks. The police have launched an internal inspection.
According to the Jeju Provincial Police Agency on the 13th, a report was recently filed alleging that Lieutenant Colonel A, who belongs to a police precinct in the province, had abused a subordinate and made sexual remarks.
The police transferred Lieutenant Colonel A to another police substation to immediately separate him from the female employee identified as the victim.
The police have launched an internal inspection and are investigating whether Lieutenant Colonel A committed specific misconduct, as well as the exact facts of the case. A police official stated, "An internal inspection is underway to verify the facts rigorously in accordance with procedure."
