[Financial News] Creator Kim Seon-tae opened up about his circumstances after the controversy, saying, "I don't have much work these days." Regarding lawsuits against malicious commenters, he warned that "filing a lawsuit is too distasteful," while revealing that he had spoken with a lawyer about the matter.
On the 11th, a video titled "Kim Seon-tae Promotion" was uploaded to Kim Seon-tae's personal YouTube channel.
In the video, Kim Seon-tae candidly described how his circumstances had worsened since the controversy, saying, "I don't have much work these days." He also joked, "There was someone who helped me as an employee, but they said they were quitting," adding, "In Titanic, isn't the mouse the first to escape?"
He also explained why he had turned down numerous lecture offers. After saying, "I declined them to focus on YouTube content," he described his changed circumstances: "Things have changed, so I'm thinking about giving lectures. Seeing how much I'm appearing in the news these days, lectures might not be a bad idea either."

He also revealed, "My hair has become thinner, so I'm taking medication for hair loss." He then warned malicious commenters, saying, "I've spoken with attorney Lim Hyun-seo. Be careful."
However, he soon expressed mixed feelings, saying, "Filing a lawsuit is too distasteful," and adding, "It makes me look that way myself. I'm nobody special. Celebrities take a big hit, don't they? I took a big hit too, though. What kind of feeling is this?" He then thanked the fans who had stood by him, saying, "There were far more comments supporting me."
He said he is still staying in Chungju and laughed awkwardly as he described the reactions around him: "My home is in Chungju, and my family is in Chungju, but everyone kept asking, 'Why are you in Chungju?'"
Previously, Kim Seon-tae faced intense backlash after Woni of RESCENE, who appeared with him on the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) web variety show "Don Seontae," became embroiled in a controversy over secondary harm. Through his personal channel, he apologized, saying, "I failed to recognize the problems with the script," and voluntarily withdrew from the program.
