【Financial News, Incheon Metropolitan City = Reporter Han Gap-su】 Inha University received 36,992 applications for 2,662 places after closing applications for its 2027 early admissions, recording an average competition ratio of 13.90 applicants per place.
According to Inha University on the 13th, the Essay Excellence Track recorded the highest competition ratio among the admissions tracks, with 16,831 applicants for 457 places, or 36.83 applicants per place. The Practical Skills and Achievements Track received 1,786 applications for 83 places, recording 21.52 applicants per place.
Under the Comprehensive School Records Track, Inha Future Talent (Interview Track) received 10,456 applications for 939 places, recording 11.14 applicants per place, while Inha Future Talent (Document Review Track) received 2,201 applications for 261 places, or 8.43 applicants per place. The School Records—Regional Balance Track received 2,762 applications for 438 places, recording 6.31 applicants per place. The newly established Comprehensive School Records—Regional Physician Selection Track received 57 applications for six places, recording 9.50 applicants per place.
By academic unit, the Department of Environmental Engineering recorded 21.36 applicants per place and the Department of Sports Science recorded 15.57 applicants per place under Inha Future Talent (Interview Track). Under the Document Review Track, the Department of Advanced Bio and Pharmaceutical Sciences recorded 16.25 applicants per place, while the Department of Media and Communication recorded 9.67 applicants per place.
Under the School Records—Regional Balance Track, the Department of Smart Mobility Engineering recorded 17.60 applicants per place, while the Department of Korean Language Education recorded 9.80 applicants per place. Under the Essay Excellence Track, the pre-medical studies program recorded the highest ratio at 312.50 applicants per place, followed by the Department of Social Studies Education at 65.67 applicants per place.
Inha University will begin practical examinations on October 2, starting with the acting test for the Department of Theater and Film, followed by practical examinations for the Department of Fine Arts, the Department of Fashion Design, and the Department of Design Convergence. Interviews for Inha Future Talent (Interview Track) under the Comprehensive School Records Track will be held on November 21 and 22, while interviews for the Regional Physician Selection Track will take place on November 21. Essay examinations will be held on December 5 and 6.
Initial successful applicants will be announced on November 17 for the Practical Skills and Achievements Track and on December 18 for the Comprehensive School Records, School Records, and Essay Excellence tracks.
