Megan Mei-Yok Skiendiel recently opened up on a fan communication platform about the shocking incident she experienced while coming down from the stage and interacting with the audience at a concert in Paris, France.
Megan Mei-Yok Skiendiel said, “I was a little startled when someone grabbed my breast,” recounting the disturbing moment.
She candidly expressed her feelings, saying, “I really enjoy seeing fans’ faces up close and holding their hands. But I hope people won’t touch inappropriate areas.”
She added, “I understand that everyone gets excited and carried away,” but urged fans to foster a mature concert culture, saying, “I hope we can respect one another so that we can all safely share these beautiful moments together.”
A performance video that spread across various online communities showed Megan Mei-Yok Skiendiel looking momentarily flustered while interacting with the audience, sparking outrage among fans.
Meanwhile, KATSEYE is a global girl group jointly launched by HYBE and Geffen Records under HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk’s “Multi-home, multi-genre” strategy.
The group made a high-profile debut in the United States in 2024 by incorporating the “K-pop methodology.” After touring major European cities in September, it will move its performances to North America starting in October as it continues its active global activities.
