Daytime Highs to Reach 30°C, but Mornings and Evenings Will Be Chilly... Inland Areas to See Temperature Swings of Up to 15°C This Weekend

[Financial News] Saturday the 12th will remain unseasonably warm during the day, but early-autumn weather will continue, with temperatures turning chilly after sunset. Inland areas will see day-night temperature differences of up to 15°C, making it necessary to dress according to the time of day when going out.
According to the Korean Meteorological Administration’s forecast, daytime highs nationwide are expected to range from 25°C to 30°C. Gwangju will be the warmest at 30°C, while temperatures in Daegu and Busan will rise to 29°C. Highs are forecast at 27°C in Seoul, Daejeon, Sejong City, Ulsan and Jeju Province; 26°C in Incheon and Gangneung; and 25°C in Suwon.
On Sunday the 13th, morning lows will range from 12°C to 21°C, while daytime highs will reach 23°C to 31°C. Temperatures will remain close to seasonal averages for the time being, but inland areas will see day-night temperature differences of 10°C to 15°C.
On the 12th, skies nationwide will be occasionally cloudy. The Capital Metropolitan Area and Gangwon State will remain mostly cloudy through the morning of the 13th. Some areas of northern Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi Province, as well as central and northern Gangwon State, may see less than 0.1 mm of drizzle through Sunday morning. Rainfall of 5 to 10 mm is expected in the mountainous areas of Jeju from Sunday afternoon through the evening.
Drivers should exercise caution in areas affected by fog. On the 12th, visibility may fall below 1 km in parts of the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon State, inland areas of South Jeolla Province, inland areas of Gyeongsangbuk-do, and the western inland parts of Gyeongsangnam-do.
Fine-dust concentrations nationwide will remain at “good” to “moderate” levels, and air quality will generally be satisfactory.
