Sungshin Women’s University’s Early Admissions Competition Ratio Reaches 12.08 to 1; Essay Excellence Admissions Track at 31.27 to 1

In the early admissions process, which closed on the 11th, 17,853 applicants applied for 1,478 places, including places outside the regular admission quota. The Essay Excellence Admissions Track drew 4,972 applicants for 159 places within the regular quota. The Department of Nursing (Humanities) posted the highest ratio at 77.2 to 1, followed by the Department of Media and Communication at 57.75 to 1 and the School of Law at 49.75 to 1.
Competition also increased for the comprehensive school-record-based Self-Directed Talent Admissions Track. A total of 5,096 applicants applied for 533 places, producing a ratio of 9.56 to 1, up from 7.67 to 1 last year. Culture & Arts Management recorded the highest ratio in this track at 32.2 to 1.
The school-record-based academic Regional Balance Admissions Track recorded a ratio of 4.2 to 1. The Department of Social Studies Education posted the highest ratio at 14.5 to 1, followed by the Department of AI Convergence at 7.88 to 1 and the Department of Chinese Language, Literature and Culture at 7 to 1. Among practical skills/achievements admissions, the Department of Contemporary Music and Arts recorded the highest ratio at 77.64 to 1.
The essay examination for natural sciences applicants will be held on October 3, and the examination for humanities applicants on October 4, at Sungshin Women’s University’s Soojung Campus in Donam. Final admission results for the comprehensive school-record-based, school-record-based academic Regional Balance, and Essay Excellence Admissions tracks will be announced on December 18.
